We’ve been bringing you the most cutting edge names in electronic dance music over the past decade and 2019 won’t be different. For February 23rd we invited Bjarki to play Maastricht, an artist whose sound ranges from techno to the most abstract forms of dance music.

Bjarki has been making waves ever since he joined Nina Kraviz and her трип (trip) label. The Icelandic artist’s musical output has skyrocketed and no track ever sounds the same. For Linke Soto he has prepared a hybrid set with music from what he calls his ‘debut album’, Happy Earthday, forthcoming on !K7. We feel honored to have the man from Iceland on board, since he is relentless and delivers music without compromise.

Support comes from local artist Perill, member of the much loved Plata Morgana crew. He has developed a distinct taste for electronic music over the past years and we think that his love for abstract electronics is what complements Bjarki’s sound perfectly. Our advise: don’t just dip your toes in, get in head first. We know you’ll like it.

Roy Habets

Finally, Roy Habets will represent the Linke Soto crew. It’s no secret that he has a strong preference for the more leftfield sounds in electronic dance music. Although you probably have heard him playing an eclectic selection of disco, electro, techno and house music records during his appearances at De Toko in 2018, he is probably cooking up something you haven’t tasted yet.

Tickets for this Linke Soto night on February 23rd are available via our ticket page. To keep club nights and interesting artists like this available for everyone tickets are only €10,59 (fee included), but the amount of tickets is limited to 300. Don’t miss out for this journey through electronic music, because together we will push the boundaries in our beloved and beautiful Maastricht.
